Don't hate the player, hate the game. It's annoying but I think he has some very worthwhile content.

Are you talking about the riscv esp32-3c SDK? Because I think the Espressif SDK has really matured over time for their other cores.

This is really true somehow. After working my first job for 8 years a friend asked me to come work with him somewhere else. They were desperate for techies and preferred hiring through existing employees so it would be quicker and there wou

I love Mikrotik/RouterBOARD gear but I would not recommend it to someone who hardly uses any networking equipment. The interface is far from straightforward and new users mostly get overwhelmed by the functionality they offer.

Which version are you using? In Win2016 if I try in CMD I get "'curl' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." And when I try in Powershell I get "cmdlet Invoke-WebReque

To clarify; CURL isn't in Windows. CURL in Windows is an alias for the Invoke-Webrequest cmdlet.

Funny. I have a full 42U rack at home but because I am moving to another city I had to dismantle everything to get it packed. All the critical VM's and services are now running on an old NUC and a HP low-spec laptop. Made me rethink if

It seems the Switch has 64 burnable fuses. What will they do after the 64th update?

Fun fact indeed! I knew all these things but never how they actually worked. When I was deep into IRC I was a bit too young to understand the technical side of it but I sure knew how to download a lot of warez over DCC!

This channel makes me feel dumb. It all goes over my head but he is explaining it like he is teaching a group of 10 year olds.

I'd also check my microwave if I were you. They shouldn't be leaking so much as to interfere on a home wifi signal.

SpriteTM is a Dutch guy indeed. He currently lives in China working for Espressif though. He's been a member of a Dutch online tech community for years and years (and to be honest we mis him there!).

This is exactly why this is a dumb change. Lot of people learned it before 1998, before the -bibytes. Even now it's being used as if they were interchangeable.

I've had an iPad 2 on my wall for home automation which I just removed because we are moving. Now I'm afraid to open it and see what the battery did after all those years on a charger.

I saw such a thing recently, I think on Hackaday. But I can't find it now. It was pretty much what you say. A sort of pass through connector for USB cabled which would light up a LED when the wire made continuity.

I still run a Lync Server 2010 at home to chat with my wife using a MSN looking messenger. We used to chat a lot using MSN messenger and this is a way to hold onto it. I don't mind Lync at all!
