As someone who only sparingly uses dark mode (almost exclusively at night), I kind of like full black mode. It’s much easier on the eyes at night. That said, I don’t even bother using dark mode in the day because full black mode makes every

Speaking anecdotally I think this has some truth in it. A lot of people I know seem to loathe San Francisco and only put up with it because they’re required to live here for a job. If that’s the true reason for an exodus, then I hope it ben

That’s a product of this limited time format. Without interruptions, nothing prevents the executives from wasting even more time and avoiding answering the question.

I was a subscriber back in 2008-10 and then again from 2016-17. I found it odd that somewhere in the middle, they seemingly stopped (or slowed down) doing the special reports that were a deep dive on a big topic. Those were always my favori

For more on this, I highly recommend Anand Giridharadas's 2018 book "Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World" on the problems behind billionaire philanthropy. It feels more and more relevant in a post COVID

This just looks like PR for the benevolent feudal lords. Rather than "giving back", maybe these people should stop taking away in the first place.

Not only is the population large, a lot of people are large as well. Obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular health are huge factors in covid-19 mortality.

"Close proximity" does it a disservice when there are cages of animals stacked on top of one another such that the animals in the bottom cages may be covered in the feces of those above them.

Strongly agree with your random observations. Something about Firefox on Mac is just incredibly slow at even basic things like switching tabs. This is on a higher end 2019 15" Macbook Pro. Whereas on Windows 10 it feels just as fast as

It sucks. Sometimes the bold text is the exact opposite of the answer to the query I search for. It’s very misleading unless you click through and read the full context.

Great suggestion. It’s actually a pretty solid experience. Only other difference is that it does not auto play videos on feed or story. Maybe that’s a feature for some though.

Wow. Yet another Netflix update that antagonizes users. Though I suppose this one isn’t a deal breaker. Don’t all airplay capable devices (Apple TV, newer smart TVs, etc) have their own Netflix client?
