Corporations are not hiring devs... Devs have plenty of time... Devs fuck corps by redoing things right... The shortsightedness of suits is as always staggering.

So the fault is with zombie Marl? As any zombie marketer would say: "we are just giving them what they want". Something fundamentally is amiss in this posts reasoning.

Deming was the man. But being a systems thinker, and seeing the corporate idiocy (just watch his talks on management), I suspect he knew that a system cannot be transformed, it can be destroyed and rebuilt. Japan was a great opportunity fro

True but why? "Plea for lean software" by wirth https://cr.yp.to/bib/1995/wirth.pdf explains how complexity sells. Playground IT attempts to explain the "psychology" of that complexity: https:

Just watch his videos on "clean code" or "Scribes Oath". You can't make this shit up. He literally glorifies tribal rituals. Calls devs - "his tribe" etc... Such zealous simpletons are a plenty in our pop

This is a good example of "Rebellious Teenagers of IT". Nerds rebel against their stupid daddy manager and push their own processes. They write "clean code". Still playing with them selves, but now as "good" de

There is a sentiment in the post that "poor" hiring managers have no other way to weed out the incompetent. At the same time it says that HR functionaries are not even looking at CVs... It is not a contradiction though, such idioc
