I miss the social aspect of work, as someone who took a remote job about 4.5 yrs back, I don't think most people who have only experienced it as a side effect of covid - realize how important it is for mental sanity. Yes, I like being

That's too simplistic and naive, their algorithms amplify what will get the most clicks!

I also recommend interviewing for SV tech companies that are not FAANG. A bunch are not leetcode heavy and pay just as well and most offer completely remote roles.

Are you the only caregiver? If you are, and can afford to hire or have friends and family help please do so. The caregiver needs breaks , you need to pay attention to yourself. My dad took an entire year off to take care of my mom when she

During peak commute hours, all the traffic from main roads spills over into the side streets. Case in point - my parents have an independent house, but the road on which it's situated, has become a so called "short-cut". So

"Dark stores", 10 min delivery in Indian cities, with bumper to bumper traffic, and it takes an hr to drive 5 km in peak traffic. Sounds like a whole lotta BS to me.

Early in my career, I was conscious of asking these questions, so as to not appear like a fool, I thought I was expected to know the answers. I took a remote job a while back and realized that the only way to be successful in my role was to
