It obviously is for the MAC user, who wants one button, one motion for everything and the ability to see under the hood abstracted away. Great product if they make it a bit more transparent as to what is going on and add more customization.

It also can show that billions of gmail accounts exist and there are so many middle reasons your mail can be down, besides the actual source. I bash google all the time, but the gmail is legit so far in my book.

Are you kidding me? There are so many better ways to code on multiple devices, and adding another abstract to an already complex ever-changing environment is a mistake. The only "financial incentive" is to deter programmers by the

Either way, it would be a shame if Google sank Dropbox and I would resent it. Dropbox is a GREAT service for free, then charges if you like more space. They offer the best use cases around for developers who do a lot of cross device work. Y

Try it on Ubuntu or Mint then! Talk about clunky, you have no choice but to get the stuff from the web and download. That's why I stick with Dropbox.

I say we support Dropbox for secure storage and dump our images and videos on Google Drive and see how long they store that cheap. Don't just buy a g and throw a few things in there, make them earn this low-balling war.

I would like to add, the service provider that has built software for MAC, IOS, Windows, Linux and Android might be a better choice as well. I do like both Google Drive and Dropbox, but Google can't even make the time to support Linux

Haa! Much like adding a 70's Lac Engine into a Tesla. If it works that is cool and trendy and not monetarily smart.

And at the same time doing what Java did, abstracting away what is under the hood, so when something brakes. SOL. But this might be good, keep JS for the Pro's and TS for the Joe's?

And this is why TypeScript is 1-2% of the market? Check out GitHub and the rest of the community outside of your workplace or whatever place you are seeing this trend, because the numbers are not showing this. Even search terms of google tr

Exactly, with 1 or 2% of the market using TS the only reason to not use vanilla JS is because it is to complicated for you and you want to replicate a C# experience. That's a shame because you loose a lot of the advantages of pure JS.
