I think a lot of companies forced this because for a while the api permissions weren't granular enough when dealing with private repos on organizations. They added the "Third-party application access policy" sometime in the l

Everyone has different priorities. Big cities come with benefits that you have to pay for to enjoy. Different strokes for different folks, you can't really compare the two at just a price point and size. There is so much more.

This was me for a long time in DTLA, my only choice was AT&T for $50 a month for 8/1. Now I have Time Warner and I pay $55 for 200/20. Much happier.

It's still hands down the best feature of the entire product. I don't use Facebook for much, nor do I particularly care for it. But this is an amazing use of social graph and the internet. Whomever at FB came up with the concept,

Probably not no, they probably picked it up in some bulk purchase. If it came from a garage sale or the like, then maybe? But a junk shop deals in this world, that this, that they should be aware could have something amongst all their stuff

I think that was more common to hear as people didn't seem to understand @messages and #hashtags. So when they saw: > .@jack #awesome They didn't know what that meant. Now that hashtags and @ style messaging are just about ever

No, it specifically says the opposite: "Potvin says certain highly sensitive code—stuff akin to the Google’s PageRank search algorithm—resides in separate repositories only available to specific employees."

I'm going to start saying Elastic Breadstick and see if my PM starts using the phrase to solve everything. He likes buzzwords.

I assume it means Limited Partner, though you're right, it should have been defined prior to its use in the article.

Right because most HOVs have dedicated exits (I'm picturing 495 in D.C.) that avoid the cross traffic. Unfortunately we don't have that luxury on any of our HOV/Fastrak lanes that I drive.

Actually as someone who drives the 110N home everyday the HOV makes everyone worse off in my opinion. Every entrance to the HOV during rush hour makes cross-lane patterns that end up bringing traffic to halt around them, but in between entr

I think that is an error in the content, it says hit the triple line button in the upper right. Well one half of that is wrong, so if the + button did allow you to add a weight, then it meant to say plus instead of triple line.

I also prefer a nice visual diff and branching so usually depending on what project I am working in I always have Gitlab or Github open in my browser. Everything else is done on the CLI.

I keep reading these articles about how awful hamburgers are but so far not a single one addresses menus that have more than 3-5 items. I manage sites that we have kicked around ideas for how to deal with the menu better, but the size of wh

When you view a repo if you click the readme tab then come back later, the readme tab is the default. I'm not sure if this is stored short term or long-term but it was a featured added in the last 3-4 releases iirc.

Maybe we should make an app where you put in all the apps that you have on your iPhone to find your perfect match. We'll call it appxappxappxappxappxappxappxapp.
