Why VirtualAlloc? Lua has its own allocator, which will also collect for you. lua_newuserdata. At the expense of having to set executable yourself, but without all the inbuilt inefficiencies the article points out.

A Pi on a 3.7v, with touchscreen and keyboard... In my experience that is in the range of 4-6 hours. Though, considering all the model 100s I keep staring at are in the range of $600-1000, tradeoff seems acceptable.

Whilst they're certainly not Apple, you can walk into most retailers, and out with one of Boox's offerings. (Just be aware they're open GPL violators.)

Of course, its an entirely trivial process to completely replace serialisation everywhere in your product and swap out your own custom hot reloading compilation pipeline you created before the language created its own one incompatible with

Guessing you never used OpenAPI or Razor then. Which were core features in 9 and no longer existed in 10.

Postscript is still everywhere. Its just out of sight, being used as a compile target. PDF may have "officially" replaced it, but it is still embedded almost everywhere you look.

If all art is derivative, then the argument also applies to the LLM output. If the input has copyright, so does the output. If the input does not, then neither does the output. A prompt is not enough to somehow claim artistry, because the w

If that is the case - then it becomes likely that LLMs are violating the implicit copyright of their sources. If the prompt makes the output a derivative, then the rest is also derivative.

An Azure outage took out Office365 the day before CrowdStrike happened. I would not trust Microsoft to get this balance right.

Derivatives inherit. Public domain in, public domain out. Copyright'd in, copyright out. Your compiled code is subject to your copyright. You need "significant" changes to PD to make it yours again. Because LLMs are predicate

There is no builtin setting in iOS to disable it. However most 3rd party keyboards don't have it, as implementing it without OS support is a huge pain.

The outputs of AI are most likely in the public domain. As automated process output are public domain, and the companies claim fair use when scraping, making the input unencumbered, too. It wouldn't be OpenAI holding copyright - it wou

Between you and me, are a bunch of other hops. Blindly trusting dependencies is one part of why npm is burning down at the moment. Why trust un-signatured files hosted on a single source of truth? It isn't the 90s anymore.
