I also like Spaces a lot. I think my main issue is that I don't like the vertical sidebar, and doing cmd+s to hide and show it all the time is not that great (also because some web apps hijack cmd+s).

I also use Firefox as my main daily driver and have been for 5 years or so. Recently I started trialing Arc ( https://arc.net/ ) and it's interesting. They try to be quirky and have a bit of a different approach. What I

Might be. But the question also is, is there enough genetic variety on the cloned Dodos to warrant 100 healthy Dodo babies?

This is a reference to Seinfeld. When Jerry and George pitch their show to NBC, they pitch it is a "show about nothing". Which is almost like an recursion, because the show they pitch in Seinfeld is Seinfeld. So, Seinfeld is a sho

You (probably) won't be able to breed 100 Dodos from one initial pair, because of the minimum viable population restriction (genetic stochasticity). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minimum_viable_population

Congrats on the launch. I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I never had the need or desire for this type of product. I usually know if the thing I'm looking for was in an email, in my Basecamp or in a Google Doc. I wonder w

I have been using the Awair for like 3 years, and it seems to work fine. I never did a test to compare it to other products, though.

Awesome. Do you plan on offering a paid hosted version? Would be great, especially if you would host it in Germany (or EU). Grüße von Hamburg!

You're right, I misread your comment. I thought that you said that steam engines weren't initially mainly used in coal mines.

According to Wikipedia, steam engines did go "mainstream" with the coal mine use case, at least to an important part: The first commercially successful engine that could transmit continuous power to a machine was the atmospheric e

It's like email. When you create an email account, you also choose a provider like Gmail or Yahoo. With Mastodon, you choose a server. You can follow and be followed by anyone regardless of which server they're on. Just like you c

I've been using Ivory for a couple of weeks now, and I think it's significantly better than the official Mastodon iOS app. For a great web client, I can recommend Elk ( https://elk.zone ).
