Temu is in a great position to enter this market. Being deeply connected to the supplier networks, they could easily put together a plane and become a competitor to Boeing.

I saw KDE a couple of years ago and it was not much better than KDE in 2005. It was visually more impressive, sure. But what has really happened in the last 2-4 years to make it miles ahead of Windows?

Fortunately I don't spend a lot of time in either of these but what I did notice was just the UI being more difficult - so UI friction makes a big difference, especially across thousands of users in a government department. Also lots o

It's a great way for Denmark to negotiate a better deal with Microsoft for the next round of licenses. No way they will stick with Linux. It's just too fiddly, requiring way more "IT people" running around configuring Sa

Is it really that important though, to have async/await? I mean, do Zig developers actually need it?

What's Junie? I am currently trialing the AI assistant in IntelliJ but I didn't see that name anywhere.

If the LLM's are starting to output Quarkdown by default - even just one provider (like OpenAI), this will catch on like wildfire. The limitations of Markdown is getting a bit old.

Yes, a Rogue One sequel movie. So it'll be a continuation of the Andor series. They really take their time filming this kinda stuff so don't hold your breath.

Andor is a masterpiece. I recommend everyone to see it. Season 1 is probably the best, but season 2 just continues the brilliance. Unfortunately there won't be a season 3 though - they're making a final movie.

Comes with 32GB VRAM right? Speaking of, would a Ryzen 9 12 core be nice for a 5090 setup? Or should one really go dual 5090?

No idea but upvoted. This should get interesting. I don't think asking on HN is the right place to get a definite answer, but you're sure to get a lot of ideas.

Spyware? That's just rumors and also without evidence. macOS is a true Unix and it has an amazing UI. The hardware is astounding. Nobody else is able to make such hardware at this scale, e.g macbooks with Apple Silicon chips. You could
