I could return them. But I wonder how long it will take before the new AirTags are available in stores?

I read this literally just after I ordered 4 AirTags. Great.

Is the solution for sideloading to also have the same APK in the Play Store? That way, Google would have received the AAB and generated a signed APK that is used from the Play Store and also offered via sideloading.

We need developers like these who are able to innovate without being tainted by the echo chamber of AI. LLM's tend to regurgitate known design patterns and familiar UX. Like those typical "keep scrolling down to learn about our ap

Will it work with say - someone speaking English with some hindi mixed in? I'm not from there so I'm not sure how prevalent that is, but I've been told it's quite common to "mix it up" in India, and I need to p

While on this subject, what's the go to transcribe speech to text model (open source or proprietary, doesn't matter) if you have to support a lot of languages really well?

I see now. But .. bottom line is, I don't want any auto correct. It'll force to capitalize and all kinds of stuff. And if you type in a language's dialect, you're basically stuck.

Can't find it. I can see the keyboard layout per language but not actual languages. One layout is enough for all of my languages.

I think a lot of these are just hard to reproduce. Take the AirDrop one, it's been 5 years probably since I had an issue with it, and I use it quite a bit. Auto correct? No idea, I switch that off by default anyway since I switch betwe

Used to have this running on all of our computers in the office back in 1999, or 2000. Such a satisfying screensaver! Then I went even further and put it on the servers too.

I also built a whiteboard out of glass, although my approach was a bit different. I also made 3d printed spacers with a screw through, but I also support the whiteboard itself on thin wood strips that rest on the skirting below. I was a bit

What about those professional software developers still refusing to use AI / LLMs? I know a couple and they're still churning out code completely 100% manually. Heck, I even know a guy who refuses to use an IDE with Java and the i

I pretty much use HTMX and vanilla JS to solve most problems, when I use Django at least. Keeps things simple and gives that SPA feel to the app too.

Might it see a popularity burst though, due to Rust's inherent advantage in AI augmented development? Being more deterministic makes it easier for LLM's to produce working code in it.

On Tahoe I hardly notice liquid glass. The Dock and some buttons I guess. On iOS it's much more in your face, but I am getting used to it. Seeing the glass buttons in front of a running movie is quite impressive.

I hear the complaints about Tahoe but I don't fully understand. For me (and I consider myself a power user, and I've been using macOS since ... Mac OS X Jaguar. I've been through it all). Tahoe to me is stable, the Liquid Gla

Downvoted. You seem like a pretty bitter person. People are allowed to have opinions, just like your "crazy" uncle with whom you'd rather not discuss politics at thanksgiving.

That's not genocidal. That's an opinion, and he's certainly allowed to have one. One poor judgement doesn't affect my overall opinion of the man. He did great things and made a dent in the universe, in his way.
