Due to my past experiences, I have not used it in a while, but I have always hated it (and that is not something I usually feel towards software). Such a terrible UI for a product related to art development is baffling. That said, I underst

It is the radiation of course, but when it it is inhaled or ingested, rather than just being in the vicinity. Of course, that is true for many types of radioactive particles, and they do require cleanup or other remediation.

That nails me. But that is also the impetus behind my use of almost every single product I use, from my house, to my car, to my food, to my computers, to the os and other software on them. I don't think that is indicative of anything v

The only reason I use FF on android is for the extensions (especially ad / tracking blockers). Whatever mess it might be, it still is far better than the alternatives and not really noticeable to me during daily use.

They do both. There are tax incentives for developers, and plenty of rebate programs. See BayREN and the various programs they piggyback with.

Some of us find that type of attempted lock-in extremely off-putting. I know it is common, but just a heads up. I have no idea how much of a minority we are.

So, why is anybody arguing it is not just about lock in, when their specs are similar enough that they are interchangeable - more a rarity than the norm in the realm of electronics? It is a pertinent thing to point out, since if the tools w

Yeah, the biggest problem seems to be taking a bunch of extremely hormonal 18-20 year olds in an awkward and idiosyncratic social situation (university in general, and often forced dorm life for undergrads), and then calling that a universa

That is not the way the history of online social networks has played out. It seems pretty well established that most people want to be where all the action is, and that niche groups will never be the primary form of social interaction, even

The problem is discoverability. Social sites will always trend towards fewer major players, because people want to be heard. Tech like Mastodon, which tries to promote plurality, needs to deal with the discoverability mammoth in the room, o
