I love it. The permissiveness of copyright law preempts restrictive user agreements. Finally, a drop of sanity in an insane world.

Obviously the US military has absolutely crushed their enemies as far as not having their hands tied by politics has allowed. And that is important, whether for better or for worse. In at least 70% of the major conflicts since then, US has

I have never had an app refuse to work because of developer mode, but several if rooted. Anecdotal, but it would seem the two are treated differently by developers.

It's not the evaporation per se that matters in the pumped hydro, it is the evaporation loss of water you already invested in pumping, so it is just an efficiency loss. The vapor loss for the heat sink is indirect, you usually just cal

That was my first thought too. But lakes lose ~20% / year to evaporation, and with the use of shade balls that is cut by ~90%, so we are at 2% / year - which is about the same as very efficient daily loss from heat storage.

You misread again. I said many / many. And you ignore the main point, which is that costs will be lower in a couple years. This is childish.

You misread. Many EVs are cheaper than many ICE cars means there is already a fair amount of overlap in price points, and more expensive ICE cars are already more expensive than base EVs. And then I posted a source indicating that the r

Many EVs are already cheaper than many ICE cars. They will only get cheaper and ICE cars will be more expensive to produce in 3 years. No surprise since ICE cars are quite complex. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos

I am shopping for an EV right now. I absolutely refuse to look at Teslas. So there is some effect of unknown size, and in hard times that added effect can push things over an edge.

It depends what your "serious" work is. I have used it to edit well over 300 million words of text, reformatting scripts to add tagging etc, large scripts of complex regex to data clean (although nothing I know of beats TextCrawle

I completely understand that, but in the real world, you will need to get your hands dirty with a bit of code because no matter how complete, there will be an edge case where you need to jump outside the box.

I recently was forced to use WP for a site due to third party constraints. It simply wreaks of being a swiss cheese of security vulnerabilities once you start adding plugins - so that would be my main reason for staying away from it for a s
