Good job apple team! Very smooth experience. Fyi you may want to sanitize some of your response headers because one can easily tell Envoy is running at the edge. Upstream service latency looks healthy though :)

It does not "have" to go through such a step, by the way, because you can simply run such code on the JVM.

Sure, but Kotlin is to Java as TypeScript is to JavaScript, which is the point I am making.

Equity is zero-sum. Once you hand it out, it's gone. You can create more, but it will dilute everyone else. Not a very good arrangement for something that should create value over a long period of time.

I will also say: Android Kotlin and pure server Kotlin are entirely different beasts. If you are on Android and you are frustrated with Kotlin, it is probably Android. Kotlin compiles now to JS, WASM... even LLVM bitcode if you want it to.

Can't imagine who would downvote this comment as I'm definitely not claiming that _you_ need to like Kotlin, or that _your_ language is bad. I just like Kotlin. Sorry! :)

What do you mean "so big?" Kotlin doesn't feel "big" to me. ` enum class Sample { A, B } val x: Sample = Sample.A val y = when (x) { Sample.A → 0 Sample.B → 1 } ` I think if you give it time you might like

Difficult geniuses often evolve into great people. We all learn our lessons in different orders, and humility and empathy for the frustrations of genius can have a powerful effect. Genius is a blessing, yes, but it is often a burden. "

True, and definitely worth a mention. This is only Microsoft's fault insofar as it was possible at all to crash this way, this broadly, with so little recourse via remote tooling.

Dehumanization is the result of treating a human like they do not have equal rights and dignities. If we decide that identity is a right within someone's control, that decision must be consistent. If I call you "Steve," and y
