Hey Metahead. I wonder if you guys would be down to collaborate? We have a project that might plug in nicely. Let me know: sam@less.build Or, feel free to drop a GitHub link?

If you’re interested in build caching for Gradle or Maven, we support it at Buildless You can use the local agent entirely for free and upgrade to Cloud caching if it fits your case. Maven and Gradle are two of our best integrations. https

The author forgets that people need to eat and only a small slice of deep tech ever becomes real. It seems to me that this is written from a place of privilege, where a FAANG job isn't true progress for your bloodline. Strivers are ama

I’m happy to admit it is very strong progress. I can see how the characters relate between shots now because they wear (at least) the same color and style of clothing.

Eh, is it really "consistent" costume if the chest plate of a character's armor changes in each shot? Or if the tassels on a sweatshirt are suddenly chrome? I don't think this would pass in regular film for good consiste

It sounds like you’re really experienced with Nix or perhaps a contributor. We’re new to Nix at Elide (makers of Buildless) but we’d love to collaborate :) I just tried it for the first time the other day and although I’m not ready to move

Our experience with this at Buildless is that remote caching loses profitability past 100mb or so. As a result, we impose reasonable caps which force a recompilation for the largest outputs, and it ends up being faster. Just our experience

Our blobs end up quite a bit smaller than that, and I can see using S3 for many build cache problems. In our case in-memory worked better with overflow to disk for large or infrequently used objects. R2 is S3 to me, btw, or at least it’s th
