The alternative may have been "having no cake" since they would not be profitable without successfully fighting the 300% tariff.

"Manna"[1] as well. While I don't like the writing style, I love the story. Especially since it shows AI gutting middle management in an interesting way before robotics is mature enough to do all the dextrous tasks. 1 http

Payment obfuscation (which is not inherent in the protocol, but how you use it). International money transfers. I've personally met a few backpackers who use bitcoin ATMs in SE Asia in addition to the traditional banking system. FWIW

Power users can use unsigned add-ons in Dev Edition. Regular users would be exploited by any middle ground solution in the main release. It's unfortunate the web is a dangerous place for the average user.

From my experience, we're in the stone age when it comes to treating depression without drugs as well. I reached out to my PCP at my HMO, they made me talk to a specialist who cleared me for treatment and referred me back to my PCP.

I've never had a pair of Bluetooth headsets that haven't had connection issues with my Pixel. This is especially true of the cheap Sony pair I tried, but also true of the nicer Macaws and Here Ones. Even my car's head unit

Publishers are already treating adblock (not tracking protection) users far more aggressively than they have in the past. I imagine if the number of users that are hampering advertiser value went up by an order of magnitude that these publ

I think that it's likely because Apple has much more leverage and their major source of funding isn't their browser. I could imagine a world where ad-based services started blocking/paywalling Firefox user-agents. Hopefully

I'd love an answer to this as well. Tangentially, this is a rare moment when I want a service to charge me money to assure myself that they are adequately incentivized to take my service/business seriously.

Elio Motors is trying to avoid the car regulations by releasing an enclosed trike which is legally a motorcycle in most (all?) states. Unfortunately, they have had major delays and funding issues. Their vehicle is an 84MPG diesel not an EV

Mozilla is experimenting with which default is preferred by fresh install users right now, so users on this thread may have different initial defaults. I don't think that there are plans to change the default for existing users.

LastPass has announced that they will have their extension updated by the time 57 hits release. I'm not sure it's fair to expect them to have something for Beta even if their competitors do.

It's not as fast as Focus, but if you want an alternative to Chrome Firefox for Android should work better with Google Apps that are (probably) broken due to Focus's anti-tracking features. It is based on the same rendering engin
