Regarding security, I'm not sure there's more to be worried about than the usual. It's basically like a screenshot or screen recording tool that saves to a local file, except instead of an image or video it's a text file

You're getting downvoted because it seems "probably most" don't agree with you :-) Ever-expanding does not mean infinitely scrolling. This is a work of art. Most works of art tend to be published in a "finished"

What do you mean by "can't really use docker over SSH"? I'm not sure what that means, or how it's related to bind mounts.
