I guess I need to dive deeper into this as I do not understand the implications you gave me, but I appreciate the attempt. Generally I understand why concurrency is good in many cases, I just dont get why its important for database stuff to

Isn't concurrency also limited by your machines disk speed for writes, what difference does it make if you write sequentially vs concurrently? Why does concurrency even matter for databases?

On the other hand, using frameworks later on was a good attempt to standardize things. Having some homegrown GUI nobody knows how to work with isn't an advantage either. Personally I refuse things that "feel" too big (Nuxt&#x

Sharding, buffering, caching, load balancing are mostly issues 99% of devs will never have to work on. It gets relevant on high load pages, but most stuff out there wont ever need it.

Its mostly about sharing it with friends and social media. I dont know why these people feel the need to do this either. The healthiest thing I did last year was quitting all (common) social media platforms like Instagram, reddit and stuff

The AI ultralords dream is a world with a few billion less humans. We will work till we die and we wont own anything.

Yup, since the rise of AI, I still didn't find any product built by it that's even remotely useful to me... People build prototypes a lot, but these are usually buggy and not worth putting money into.

Nah man. You got to say "no" a lot. Even in the age of AI. Often times features downright make no sense, the time to implement can span weeks and it would actively damage the product in the long term. I work in a ecom startup and

If AI was public domain and free for everyone, I would have less issues with it (not saying no issues). But yeah, the only people actually benefiting from this are big tech corps who actively destroy society since over a decade now. The arg

Yup I'd sign this. We use Vue2 in a old codebase with options API and composition API in new projects. Both feel way better than anything I ever had to do with React (how many Hooks do you have to learn by now? 13?) Vue just has a very

Unfortunately, this is not how most self proclaimed AI artists use it though. They generate slop and cry about not being taken seriously by actual artists.

Yes and actual artists acknowledge copies. Art is a craft and if the copy is well made by actual human skill you can value it. AI artists act like printing out the Mona Lisa is their own art, skill and expression.
