These guys clearly don't have a clue what this issue is all about... They want to keep the "bright spot" in the economy by making sure the ISPs aren't regulated? HA!

That would be a huge win, certainly! But it doesn't necessarily provide protections for the internet. Unless there are protections built into our legal infrastructure, the internet will continue to be whittled away.

This is going to take an amendment to the constitution. The appeals court has ruled multiple times against core ideas of net neutrality [1][2], meaning that, fundamentally, net neutrality goes against the "law of the land". Well?

What common user do you know of that has a 100,000 word vocabulary? My point being that a list of the 10,000 most commonly used words would most likely be sufficient to cover most combinations of pass phrases.

Man, I wish I would have had that kind of support and encouragement by my school when I was 14. They were far more concerned with streamlining for the state standardized testing. I maxed out their math assessment test and all I got was a pa

This would be cool. Please don't just post the code though... Have a working, interactive 2048 game that runs your algorithm so I can watch it without doing anything. Not everyone here is a coding guy...

There's probably a honeymoon phase for the management as well. There's a reason why corporations have the structures and controls they do - they work at those levels. As a company grows, it will tend to gravitate towards those. Ot

Not arguing with you here, but I just wanted to say that the point of this rule is to prevent people from getting scammed in large numbers. Allowing equity crowdfunding would also have to come with a bunch of new rules to prevent a company

Don't exchange one hyperbole for another. The government is in between being an impartial referee and being the capitalist bully.

BUG: Whenever two sets of tiles combine in a single move, only one of their scores is counted. For example, let's say that a pair of 8s and a pair of 4s are about to be combined into a new 16 tile and a new 8 tile. The game should be

Initially, I had arrived at this conclusion as well, but I've seen solutions (both from other people posting and from running this script) that have gotten to 2048 with 14000 or less. I'm not entirely sure where the discrepancy is

Damn... Nice job. Did you use any particular strategy? Obviously the random "birth" of new tiles adds an element of luck to winning, but I'm sure you must have used some technique!

You definitely need to have some kind of counter for how many times someone has reached 2048, and out of how many games played.

I tried a "tumbling" strategy, where I would press right, down, left, up, repeating. You'll see that the blocks end up tumbling around. I was able to get 256 several times. I also tried a very deliberate (and slow) strategy o

Anyone know how this is done? Maybe brute forcing the keyless entry? Maybe damaging the antenna/preamp with something high-powered would work if there's a fail safe feature to unlock the car in that event?

I don't think bitcoin will ever be used as an actual currency because of it's built-in deflation. Deflation promotes speculation and hoarding of money (coin), which is absolutely the opposite of what you want in a functioning econ
