The reason this is a "big deal" is because the finger print ID is one of the 3 (or so) main reasons anyone would/should upgrade to the new iPhone, and if one of the 3 reasons to upgrade isn't a reason anymore due to it&#

I believe they can only connect your searches if you are logged in while searching. Otherwise, of course they can collect data on anonymous searches but not ones that would be specific to you. I hope I'm wrong.
