I don’t think this is really practical or actual (isn’t tree coverage decreasing?) but I’m all for planting trees

I guess that makes sense. However, it seems like perhaps the interjection is paramedics since the top level article is about police (mid)use of k.

Just look at the sludge that comes with aluminum mining. It’s definitely dangerous and should be handled... but doesn’t mean we should ban aluminum...

How about you show me where to put all the carbon waste before we build another car/gas plant? Making orders of magnitude less waste that stays in one place seems obviously better... it’s in parking lots because there isn’t much of it

It’s a candidate for safest only if it’s being used where required by a trained administrator. And those two factors probably outweigh the choice of drug in their effect on lethality.

At least they say that ketamine must be approved by a physician first. Also a bit weird that I can’t find any other articles saying this. Maybe I am searching the wrong thing

The article says that 17% of uses in Colorado lead to complications. —- Also, I googled “Canada” and “Australia” alone with “Ketamine” “police” and got nothing. Can you support your claim that other countries do this?

This is only true because other people wrote the hot parts in other languages and exposed a python library. That’s fine but isn’t really fair in a battle of languages

I use safari on a similar Mac with no problems. Also this probably isn’t what you want to hear but I also got a headless desktop recently for all my dev related work... that made my Mac a lot faster!!

You won’t get a worse price than what the exchange says is the price, but that price Is a moving target; if all competitors could see all orders, the price would move. Idk if it makes a difference on average but it is a difference

Well “the price” might be totally different if there were no off-exchange orders. But I’m sort of being a devil’s advocate... I agree with your argument in practice since I don’t expect to see such open exchanges anytime soon

I think it’s a little unfair compared to letting people put their orders on exchanges directly

This isn’t true for every firm, but a lot of them do it. I think it’s bad (it’s weird/unfair), but on the other hand I am happy not paying commission/getting orders filled at prices often a bit better than advertised on my broker’

I’m sure this is what the world wants but.... I love the Osprey! One of my all time favorite aircraft. I probably wouldn’t have bought this, so I guess they don’t care what I think, but I thought this was super cool.

I don’t think the Concorde was purely a financial decision. I think they also wanted to show they they could make a great plane (even if it cost them to do so). It’s pretty depressing to make every decision on what makes the most money.

Excel is great as long as you stick to the basic use cases. Start going nuts and it gets really slow. I think Apple got it right when they made their spreadsheet app have a much smaller table so people don’t try to use it for massive thin

It’s a little sad that we’ve retired the 747, the Concorde, and (almost) the A380. And we haven’t introduced anything cool :(

I’ve done a lot of interviews and I want to add a few points about nervousness (As discussed in the beginning of the post): 1. 99.99% of candidates sound extremely nervous for the first few minutes. That’s fine. I think most interviewers

Jon Ronson’s book “So You’ve been Publicly Shamed” touches on this. Less from the angle of PC culture and more about anger on Twitter. I think it’s a good book and interesting even if you disagree with the conclusions.

You could not make the money in your own name. I agree once you’ve built up a bank account as a us citizen it’s quite hard to. But if you saw this coming, you could easily have an XYZ USA, an XYZ China, etc.
