Regarding internal interruptions, classic Pomodoro technique (the one with a kitchen timer and a sheet of paper) deals with them this way: there is an 'interruptions' section on the sheet, and whenever an interrupting thought occu

It kind of interesting to think, how can you define 'React for X'? My best definition would be: - JSX syntax - Immediate Mode - style API (computing inside UI code and having the same semantics as if it's recomputed on each r

Conversations that people have in science and engineering are more analytical and pessimistic, where they try to clarify and set the boundaries. This is the opposite of creative and optimistic conversation, where you break boundaries betwee

From a cursory glance, the Lisp dialect that BeeBase is using is closest to Common Lisp, is that correct? Sorry, I'm not an expert on CL, but it would be great to see a quick comparison of BeeBase Lisp with other popular Lisp dialects,

I thought so too, but now I have different opinion. Programming has both analytical and creative part, which should be balanced. If you are over-analytical you don't get stuff done quickly.

Local dev drop-in replacement for Redis seems like a really good usecase, thanks!

So the goal is to have a Redis-like API but not actually be an in-memory data store and reduce memory consumption this way? For example, for a project/service that started with Redis, but then priorities shifted and small memory footpr

What are the project goals? I assume it's a drop-in replacement for Redis that is supposed to be better in certain cases? If yes, then what cases do you have in mind?

QM doesn’t say anything about how long a system can stay in quantum entangled state, so it doesn’t say what is the limit to computations that can be performed on a quantum computer. Some computations were successfully performed, as QM predi

We don’t have any mainstream physical theory that describes the process of quantum decoherence aka wave function collapse. We know it happens, but don’t know when exactly or how quickly. So if QCs fail, Quantum Mechanics won’t be proven wr

I think this one is more for development or test endpoints. So installation from NPM is big plus, so that I can add it to devDependencies, have sources in node_modules and patch them with patch-package.

You make assumptions that programs start and stop often and allocate memory multiple times at runtime. Both assumptions are not true for server software and programs that allocate one big chunk and manage memory on their own, like JVM.
