The problem is that a lot of competitors don't necessarily have great software. For example QNAP on the hardware side is supposed to be good, you have more bang for the bucks in term of performance but they had several major CVEs that

I had some 12TB WD ultrastar that I happily replaced with some Toshiba MG09ACA18TE. To my ears at least the toshiba sound signficantly more bearable than the ultrastar were (lower pitch so less disturbing). Due to living in a small apartmen

Well take home exams are not very useful nowadays with AI. And yeah, other commenters are right when he says there's no European mind when it comes to education, each country does its own thing.

When I was a student, I spent my first 2 years in a so-called prépa intégré of a French engineering school. 20% of students failed and were shown the door during those two years (some failed, some figured that it just wasn't for them).

That's also how it's done in almost all French engineering schools. You get open book tests with a small amount of relatively difficult questions and you have 3-4 hours to complete. In some of the CS tests, coding by hand sucks a

My parents moved when I was 3 and an half. I remember distinctly our previous house. I described (much later) to my parents the layout and the colors of different rooms and they were shocked that I could remember. My 3.5 years old son, stil

While I agree with you, in my experience it's important for the security answers to be pronunceable. Otherwise some CS will just wave them away as being gibberish. So I generate random answers but them modify it so that it's somew

I've done the opposite. While I love the openness of the kobo and the pocket integration, I end up using my kindle oasis more because of the form factor and because with the metal enclosure it feels better in my hand.

That's why I never ended up using ddg. On the other hand I find that kagi is decent enough when I search in French, not as good as English but still better than google.

Yes but we were talking about the writer's purpose for writing the books. You're right those other books are less popular yet they exist and they serve as an example of non-white main characters in books 1950s by a popular author.

Oh interesting, only echoes of Roblox I've ever heard were pretty negative but I haven't tried it (my son is still a bit too young for that) so I'm curious to hear something positive about it. What do you like about Roblox?
