It is a huge parasitic company for the industry. Beware they take %15 percent commission from each transaction. I live in Turkey and bought a room through them. There was a problem and I called their call center and it turned out they didn&

Start listening from 46:30 You can hear how much does it cost in research phase, it would be much cheaper in mass production not more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQfFCC6i5_o&t=2792s I am sure pharma industry has si

Even if this perfect magical cure exists, it doesn't guarantee that we can witness or access it. Dr. Carl June, leading a charity and publicly funded program, developed CAR T cell gene therapy, which successfully cured leukemia. Howeve

You should elaborate. I just want to read a file, program flow should stop until it is done. sync or awaited async call for this semantically sounds exactly same to me. I knew Go can do it, so it doesn't "always fail"

I actually have no idea if it still applies, but I haven't seen code that uses it for a long time. Maybe it was important for desktop apps?

I have the conclusion opt-in async/await is a mistake. I think high level language/runtime like c# should handle it automatically like it is a sync call but a way to opt-out should be still possible. In my career, 99% of the time

In our codebase, we use useEffect without exhaustive-deps linting rule. I don't think it is bad in hands of developers who have basic understanding of closures in javascript. Otherwise, we have to resort to complicated logic to provide

I have been in similar situation with ASUS ROG keyboad and I am so mad! Windows automatically installed crapware without my consent and it runs as a service. I uninstalled it but it keeps coming back. Do NOT buy ASUS ROG keyboards.

You are talking about a trillion dollar company. I am sure their feeling wasn't hurt from "public shaming" Please save your empathy for the independent open source developer who spent his valuable hours on the project.

I am experiencing same thing with asus ROG mechanical keyboard. Windows automatically installed crapware along with couple services. Its uninstaller gives error, parts that uninstalled get re-installed again. I hate it.

I arrived at the hotel. They overbooked the rooms. It was late at night. I called the booking.com call center. They didn't have a Turkish speaking staff.

Because civilizations are built and ruled by Type A people, who usually sleep less and get up super early, they are known to die younger though. And %3.3 people have DSPS, who are just simply labelled as sleazy.
