Locale-based subreddits are some of the worst sub-reddits available. You mean places like /r/korea, /r/australia, /r/melbourne etc. right? They are the bottom of the barrel and the biggest wasted spaces due to

No. Censorship is the decision to remove. Moderation is the deduction to remove. Hackernews is censored fairly strongly, and moderated "ok".

Shadowban everyone and everything. Use moderators to instil a regime of discourse that puts certain concepts on a unjust pedestal. Use people who agree with the message as missionaries and AI/fake posts as fuel. Sell this as a function

These aren't anti toxicity features. They're censorship tools. It's quite hard to make anti-toxicity features and I'd love to see some real ones. These aren't them.

It's due to them choosing to make it like this. Why does this come up so much? Yes... Google, Facebook, Instagram, they're all hamstringing their experience to spite you. They benefit and you lose.

Your entire comment just speaks about poor practices, not about abuse of outside hours. There is never going to be a law that restricts wasted productivity or bad decisions. Most workers in Australia don't even have ways to remote in.

Yeah, when you're a ruthless G. Not when you get home and start making up comebacks like George Costanza. No one thinks scrounging around for money is going to label you a ruthless G.

Australia doesn't have a problem with people doing work outside work hours... not even close. That's why this was so easy to pass. That's not to say that there will never be exceptions against the laws.

There are a set of words you can't utter on these sites or your content gets removed. That's not moderation, that's censorship. And they love that it's not actual moderation.

Your mistake is assuming Facebook's algorithm isn't written to be exactly like you explained. "The algorithm is poor" is not a thing anymore, algorithms are easy to get right and even easier to break on purpose for their

Yep. "Web experience" made me think there was an actual website experience. There still isn't a web experience and it's still not open to everyone. lol

Because large, money-rich companies and censored usage is not a proving ground. Amazon "trialled" stores that were automated but ended up being humans. Even without the human factor they weren't proof of successful automation

Ah so essentially the reverse perspective at a relief on single income earners. Yep! There needs to be more done, but the biggest reason dual incomes work are for paying bills and luxuries.

Nah. We're still not that close. Think of it this way, you turn on an appliance at home and it's what, a 0.0001% chance it will explode in your face? Now automated driving, hospitality etc is all more like a 0.1+% chance something

No, it's a form of lazy censorship. Having moderators that do proper jobs is an attempt to not have the site be dominated by flamewars.
