If you are going to make the case for alternatives to Times New Roman ( http://practicaltypography.com/times-new-roman-alternatives.... ), wouldn't it make sense to include TNR in the lineup?

First prong of becoming an expert in computer programming is "becoming an expert in computer programming"? How can I read this when there is a syntax error in the third paragraph?

The sharpened version looks over-sharp to me. You may find that a level or curves adjustment is more what this image needs to pop a little.

Those percentages don't add up to 100%. Seems disingenious to count the white space in the display just to make a point.

Crap - is C a low-level language now? My view on the world is going to have to adjust.

If you want to X to replace Y, shouldn't first order of business be letting me know why?

Very cool. Could I suggest that you display the total balls dropped somewhere as well? Edit: just two niggles - (a) 13 bins would be better numbered 0-12 or 1-13. (b) I would round the percentages to nearest value (not down).

Well this is great if you are looking for apple products displayed in a cafe environment with that natural wood feel. If not, I guess I'm out of luck.

The striking photographic detail about the photo is how the faces appear to be artificially lit. The arguments about the sun's position may actually explain that if you consider the possibility that the light on their faces is reflected lig

Snazzy app - I've used a little program called Agave (for Gnome) for this http://home.gna.org/colorscheme/ - it seems to be based on similar principles.

An ideal route isn't best characterized as "flat" - I agree that "least work" (in a mechanical sense) is better. In reality it is as you say however - a personal trade off - some people just love hills too :)

Nicely done - I like the option to spin around the group and get a 3D feel for it, but it seems that all the examples you have are strictly planar. Are there any true 3D solution to these choreographed N-body problems?

I for one tend to open the link I'm about to send just to be sure I got the right one and it shows what I intend to communicate... So there it is, ready for drag and drop :)

Tesla may have been grandiose not only in this thinking - his underdog genius certainly has kept that alive. Visualizing something you are thinking about (a problem you are trying to solve for instance) goes well beyond an obvious "image" o

For single precision floats: adding 2^-25 (2^25 times) won't get you to 1 since the fraction is only represented by 23 bits...
