Despite it being so far behind my skill-set it’s not even funny, I absolutely love reading about custom made OSes, so I’m definitely keen to read a write-up on yours.

There’s unlimited ways to create malicious domains with .zip, so unless you plan on buying tens of thousands of domains then you’re just throwing money away (and supporting the domain by giving them sales) - windows-setup.zip - macos-setup.

That’s exactly why I’ve used an “admin@“ address for decades now on email registrations. It has a filter that will then redirect anything from the registrar’s domain and junk anything else.

My (and all) profile homepages give a 500 server error, but I can access all repos themselves directly if I already know the URL. A bit odd.

“Influencers” are the loud minority. Most don’t actually even make much money at all, even the ones with lots of followers. Meanwhile there’s plenty of people quietly chugging away on various projects or educational resources with a core gr

Such an odd article. PR piece? We have them in Australia and they’re utter junk. I read all the hype and was interested in an affordable electric runaround car for school/shopping runs etc.. but a 15 minute test drive is enough to tell

This is awesome. I endlessly miss the BBS days and have been toying with the idea of creating a modern one for a private group of friends/friends-of-friends.

I was so convinced .beats would take over the world (or solar system in this case). I had their watch, I installed their task-bar clock plugin for Windows 98, I harped on about it to my friends... a surprising number of which actually agree

Mobile games are horrible for this. You can’t even load Tetris or Oregon Trail on mobile without an internet connection, making them useless for travelling on planes etc.
