Your friend was treating a return policy as a rental policy. I don't think that's in the spirit of a return policy.

To be clear, 1Password has never really been "free." It has always been a paid product. Aside from the mobile apps being made free with limited features, it was previously a paid app, then with the massive push to 1Password's

I think there's a limited amount of good entertaining (to me) music available on the internet. Look, I can record a song and release it on iTunes (and all the others) using Distrokid. This doesn't mean it's good music that pe

I am hopeful for Red Bull finally putting up a real legit fight this year in F1... I am not sure Red Bull won't get in their own way just yet... Too soon to tell.

Soulver is so good. I use it almost every single day. It's just a great app and isn't that expensive. One of those apps I completely miss when it's not installed on a new device.

Pros and cons. Everything has them. I think the really big issue with all these package management solutions is how deep the dependency requirements go. One package depends on another package that depends on 18 other packages, that depend o

Problem with Feedly, in my experience, has been the rate they provide updates to feeds. I may track these 10 or so feeds which is low, but I do want timely updates to those feeds in my RSS app. Seeing delays of multiple hours is a lot less

Think of Google Reader as a 3rd party sync API, and a variety of tools use this API. lets use Twitter as an example. Google Reader is Twitter with their API Reeder (or your RSS reader with support for the API) is like Tweetbot. This isn

For me, it wasn't so much Google Reader itself, it was a free feed sync source. So I could subscribe to a feed in Google Reader, then use a 3rd party app (like Reeder or any number of others) to view the feeds I was subscribed to, and

I think you've been given plenty. You should try to come into these conversations with a lot less attitude. Perhaps I'm reading your tone wrong, and if I am I'm sorry about that. I always come into these discussions assuming

Bitwarden does have a 100mb limit. Which I think will prevent a good chunk of abuse. I would love to see them increase the limit for paid accounts, though.

It does require that you create a Bitwarden account to create a send. I assume if abuse starts happening they will just start requiring a paid plan, which would allow some amount of additional protection.

So I created a test Send: https://send.bitwarden.com/#j_2g_Uin5kuwZazpASDD2w/vhzdAzIS3... https://send.bitwarden.com/#VGacXlwPhUSVHKzpASEAyg/VrzFu9aUf... So, it looks like it's pretty simple.

Maybe not totally on subject here. But Cleetus McFarland is one of the people I think is starting to make his move away from YouTube, or at least, diversifying dramatically. Merch is huge for YouTubers in a lot of ways. He's been doing

As someone who worked in this field. Offering "options" when a vast majority of the user base don't even understand that their data is encrypted, is often a poor approach to take. Users will forget their Master Passwords even

The link they provided was to the announcement about the app. The app is electron. the CLI is written in Go, so it should feel pretty CLI-like. I refuse to even think of using 1Password X. It's a security nightmare waiting to happen.

Best approach to data is that if it can't be seen or read (through any means) then that data can't be abused or misused. This is why end-to-end encryption should be a first choice for pretty much everything.
