Then the people mad about "mass surveillance" recommend Gemini or whatever. They're just keeping up with the outrage news cycles.

I tried with email, login link doesn't log me in. Firefox on linux. Also, cannon game should have more emphasis on skill. It doesn't matter when I time the button, it's pure luck.

There's still time, my friend. Keep it up.

My "pie" is barbecue ribs. I've made them many, many times, and I've never eaten them all by myself. Once I fed about 20 friends--one of the best days I've lived.

I don't think it's off-topic at all. The story is not as much about baking pies as it is doing something every day.

I mean, the first pie was in California, per the text right before that. She was visiting family.

Well, as a less-advanced baker, I get the most pleasure from baking bread. Plus, I can eat it without getting fat.

Amen. But then they can't make their billions selling our data.

I have two; I don't think they sound great. My F150s sound like tractors. Drive like one, too--you never have to go over 2,000 rpms if you don't care to, even pulling a load. Max torque around 1800 RPMs IIRC.

One of my old cars was a 1996 XJ (Cherokee), 4.0, and I sold it with 319,000 miles. I still see it around town from time to time, must have 360 on it now. Original engine and as far as I know, transmission as well. I ran it out of oil once

Well, it's two days later now, and it turns out Colbert just lied. He didn't want to abide by the 95-year-old law about equal time, and didn't extend an offer to Jasmine Crockett. Then he lied about it and the network correct

I don't think the poster knows what he's talking about. He's not a reporter, he doesn't work for any of those companies, per his profile. I believe he's doing a lot of guesswork.

Speaking of which, prototype aircrafts with no license still exists in aviation. I can build a plane in my backyard and fly it legally, so long as it's small enough.

No? Because I wouldn't give it access to those things. I wouldn't let it loose on my personal PC. If I store my wallet on the sidewalk, that would probably be a problem. So I won't. A prompt injection could exfiltrate an LLM

It's like driving a car today. It's the most dangerous thing I do, both for myself, and those around me. The external consequences of driving are horrific. We just don't care.

I agree that LLMs are capable of this, but there's no reason that "because young children can do X, LLMs can 'certainly' do X"

Disagree, I think my wording was fine. But okay, 50% of Americans don't contribute to the country with income tax. They are leeching their services from those of us who do.
