Thanks for the kind words and advice. I'll keep these minds. The hardest part is how tightly coupled this project is with myself. If it fails, it's me failing, not the team or the project. Given the fact there were 4 UX people and

The XML api itself should be enough to tell you which one to pick. Then again, I'm thinking this from a developer point of view, guessing how the decision would have been brought up. The things that comes to mind is either A) Massive l

I need to have creative freedom in both design and features. So far I have none, I'm a code monkey with a bunch of Photoshop, UX and "Project Director" goons taking shots. None of them can actually build the end product nor w

Thank you, I'm not alone into thinking most UX stuff is BS. Another platform for 'talkers' to look like they build. I understand the concept of making the interface intuitive and easy to use and I am all for it. But my God, s

Why waste time doing it on a photoshop canvas when a developer could easily and quickly get an overview with Cocoa and auto layout through storyboard? Background: none.

PSD to iOS as well. I just wish companies would stop wasting resources on photoshop goons and let the engineers who work with the platform & SDK design.

Sorry, you're right, but still mean my own issues with dealing with third party libraries, it does help out quickly adding something so I could get to use it.

I've done a month of exact opposite. Sometimes I didn't eat either. Catch up on WWDC, wrote some cool hacks, update some libraries, write some tests for someone elses library, do some pull requests. Lunch itself is a waste of time

That's one useless designer.. if the designer does can't produce their own fucking design. That's where we get photoshop monkeys. 30 mb PSD vs someone who can code their design. Your pick.
