Ha, I feel the same way and started to make a little tool to help this, but most of the feedback I got was that it was pointless :( https://github.com/seiferteric/clamp

This is the problem I see with mass migration. People don't seem to consider the effects it will have on the society. For example, I want Northern European countries to continue to be secular and open, but what happens if millions of r

Yes and a lot of those countries import a lot of food from elsewhere because they cannot produce enough (or would be more expensive to do so). Japan for instance only produces ~39% of its own food on a calorie basis.

I am extremely skeptical that this type of agriculture will ever make up significant portion of food produced. Pick a random spot in the middle of the US on google maps and zoom in, it will most likely be agricultural fields. USDA says ~51%

Ya the point is it won't have access to a registry. I would like to be able to ship docker "packages" that have everything they need, but not have a lot of duplicate data (the base os image) in each package. I should be able

Somewhat unrelated. Is there a way to ship a container image with just a "diff" of the default image. Say I build a container with ubuntu 14.04 + some packages installed with apt. I would like to be able to "export" the

Going to second buildroot. I played around with yocto/oe and found it overly complicated for what I needed. Buildrot is much easier to grok and modify/add packages.

I have been more interested in Parrot VM rather than Perl 6 itself. I like the idea of a unified VM, though it looks unlikely to take off. The ability to share code/libraries between languages would be awesome.

Interesting. A few months ago I was really ill one day. The night before I had drank heavily, but I think in this case I also got food poisoning from something. Anyway, I vowed to stop drinking that day, and have. What I realized is how muc

I think these discussions are always funny, the internet has not killed the working class. The working class was destroyed by the loss of manufacturing to other countries. What does the internet have to do with this? Its more about globaliz

Of course you can make up a number and try it. But what if your wrong, how do you properly handle increasing your price on existing customers? Also, how do you know if it would be better to increase the price and maybe get more per customer
