I think Communism is a 19th century pseudoscience idea like phrenology. There’s no evidence these things are real but phrenology was easy to discount while many people still choose to believe in Communism despite lack of evidence of it work

This happened to me before and I reported it through their website and they actually fixed it for me at least, I guess the problem still exists though.

Ha I ported my c solitaire program (uses SDL2) to iOS a couple years ago and it was pretty smooth. I didn't know or think this was unusual, but I suppose most people would not start an iOS app this way.

I am not sure, I have looked into whether vim mem maps files or not over the years and get conflicting answers. Some say no, some say newer versions do, or it depends file type (binary vs text) or it depends on what plugins are enabled etc.

I am interested in this. At my job we have shared systems where engineers often open very large files (10+GB) using vim/gvim and it loads the entire thing into memory and often means these servers are memory starved. Would ropey help i

I've been thinking about the opposite on my gentoo desktop, eliminating the initramfs. My understanding is if you compile the essential drivers you need for boot in the kernel (not as modules), then you don't need the initramfs st
