I agree. It's especially problematic when you use different browsers on different devices and operating systems.

I loved Allegra! Saved me a lot of time when I was writing code for our musicdisk. That was 29 years ago though. :)

BIOS can only manage VESA which is much much slower than the capabilities of a modern GPU, so they might have meant graphical performance in regards to that.

Most computers in Turkey come with FreeDOS preinstalled because there's a law that states all computers must be sold with an operating system. FreeDOS turns out to be the cheapest and easiest. That's why you don't let people

Berkeley Mono, Iosevka, and Cascadia Code are missing which are my favorite fonts. The game handed me Roboto Mono instead. What I noticed while playing was that when fonts are similar, I really pay attention to the rendering of "m"

I know, but I've been always confused why a gzip file would have a filename field in its header if it's supposed to contain only one file. Obviously it's good to keep a backup of original filename somewhere, but it's con

My story is similar. I loved playing video games and all, but after I wrote my first program, I became obsessed with computers. The infinite canvas for interactive human experience and problem solving felt out of this world.

I actually disagree: that's the road taken. NAT is practically this. When you're behind a NAT, you're effectively using a 64-bit address space. Two more layers of NAT, and you can have 128-bit address space. "The first p
