Also, it's not optional. Unless you use "gossip tense" or explicitly state that it's hearsay, it must be factual. There's no ambiguity unlike English.

Ironically, it's not used in journalistic contexts in Turkish. It would seem amateurish if it were, like they weren't doing their jobs properly.

How do you even go about proper dosing and frequency of psilocybin use? Just random guess?

Let me put it this way: it's not less of a tense than present perfect tense in English. They signify the time in a similar way.

It is a tense. It’s literally taught as “learned past tense” in Turkish schools. It’s similar to present perfect tense of English.

I'll always remember that one free WiFi I had at my temporary housing at Timberlawn Apartments when I started at Microsoft: it was "Bring Food and Beer to B308". I thought it was a neighbor, but I couldn't find the apart

I wrote my first web app in Pascal as a CGI because that was what I knew. That app turned out to become the most popular Turkish social platform for the following 25 years. I coded that app in 3 hours. It was very crude as you can imagine.

"Why character X for Y?" has usually a universal answer: character X wasn't used commonly for the given scope at the time, was available widely, and felt sensible enough for Y.

I found DOSBox-ECE more stable than DOSBox-X. I believe they provide similar set of features. EDIT: Oops, talked too soon. Apparently DOSBox-ECE has been EOLed :(

No and no. IP spoofing was already trivial with 3-way handshake. That's why random TCP sequence numbers were introduced. It's now harder, but for some scenarios, SYN cookies might also be needed.

TL;DR: "Because if TCP handshake were 2-way only, the receiver couldn't confirm if it could send packets successfully or sender could receive them". And that sounds bogus to me. Connection initiation isn't about testing

Not those scenarios, but I think it still has potential to take place of embedded scripting languages like Lua, if it can keep up of course.
