You should read the book. It might challenge your world view, which is entirely the point of reading in the first place. It would probably be worthwhile to remember that Vernes was living in a time when the definition of "woman"

It makes all the sense in the world. Who else would benefit from keeping America's crimes in the public light, by granting asylum to one of its citizens with the courage to reveal those crimes to the world?

I wonder if the Finder will finally be able to auto-adjust its font for best-fit-for-content style views. Its the 21st Century, it should be doing this by now, grr ..

No need. Israel is already part of the US surveillance apparatus. Every single phone bill in the country gets shipped to an Israeli site for pre-processing..

Store my keychain on the iCloud, eh? Is this going to be the default behaviour now? If so, I guess I'm abandoning Apple faster than I thought I would, a day or so ago .

A big part of it is that space is just too inaccessible to most people - Neil Armstrong was elite, and an aversion towards all things 'elite' permeates our societies. We technocrats sure know why he was awesome, but to the average Joe, Nei

The answer is that modern consumer memory packages have come a long way from core memory. Standard ECC tech is extremely resilient to bit-rot and can recover in cases where older memory technologies would have failed catastrophically. And
