This is a Youtube Red feature. Not sure why it isn't part of core Youtube (perhaps its related to not being able to show ads to users with the screen off?).

My question is: does the ratio of famale-to-male matter? What if the chance of a girl was 60% and male was 40%? My intuition is that it wouldn't, but I'm not sure.

I can't comment on Google's practices, but an honest ad network can generally detect accidental clicks and won't count them towards ad budget. This can be done by, eg, looking at how long a user remains on the click-through s

In that case, way to go, that is very impressive! I'm surprised the bounty was so low, honestly. In response to your first comment, I should clarify that checking for a valid HTTPS URL SHOULD be sufficient, barring implementation error

Is the concern here phishing? Checking that the page is HTTPS and the domain is *.google.com should be sufficient to thwart phishing attempts. Of course, your attack would still work against uninformed users, but you can protect yourself by

I've always been curious how, in this business model, you protect API tokens if the users of the API deploy mobile apps. Embedding them in an app isn't secure: anybody could reverse engineer the app and use the key for themselves

An interesting thing worth mentioning here is that many of these techniques work because x86 is a variable length instruction set. A fixed length instruction set (ie, ARM) specifies jump targets as instruction offsets, not byte/word, s

Many CS researchers publish in conferences, not journals, so they tend to be pretty spread around. Each field usually has a major conference whose proceedings are worth looking into when they roll around. Of course, conference papers are be
