I'll thank this recommendation by recommending The Gramatical Man: Information, Entropy, Language and Life by Jeremy Campbell. More or less same topics.

In my experience with big tech, there's almost never technical issues with this kind of preferences. It's a business decision.

Would like to see evidence about this. I agree, for me the cost of sharing the account with my family is negligible. I suspect the most noisy opinions tend to set the narrative, as usual.

To me that makes even less sense. You provided that content knowingly for free, voluntarily, fair and square. No one forced you to, it wasn't an unfair nine to five job. You decided to do it. Can you realistically expect to have some

I see two pretty distinct issues here: 1) most people's favourite app is going to die, and 2) many subreddits will be negatively affected by this move: prime example is /r/AskHistorians. Personally, 1) is not really an issue

We learned this in Chile as well, Oceania is as Asia is as America. Also that no country is at the same time a continent. Are Aussies taught that their country is the actual continent?

Have the same feeling, which of course might not accurately reflect reality. But boy, this place can really make people force that "pristine me vs unethical you all" spirit. Just think about it, GP preemptively felt the need to sh
