For what it’s worth, I had a very similar thing happen to me. I guess I never made the connection until now. After a year, my intellectual curiosity is just starting to return. That you feel repaired gives me hope.

No, I haven’t. I have only used Google Translate and the one Microsoft has. Interestingly, I feel like, without any actual measurement, that Google Translate seems to fail on simple translations more frequently than before, but I also use i

If good is defined by more factors than quality of translation, maybe. But translations between the two languages I speak, English and Spanish, are never good enough to actually use without a lot of follow up work by a human.

I grew up between Highway 6 and Eldridge on West Little York. Those two reservoirs flooded both of those roads more times than I can count between I-10 and Clay Rd and Highway 6 south of I-10. I don't know how anyone who has lived in H

Bombs have an arming mechanism that triggers some time after they're released. They won't automatically explode just because they hit the ground.

I recently just hit my limit, too. The final straw was advertising videos that grabbed focus and refused to let it go. Worse, the videos were at the bottom of the page and would force my browser to scroll to those videos, refuse to yield

Except that the data doesn't support what you're saying... There's no uptrend in tornados, in accumulated cyclonic energy, or in drought. I say this as someone who doesn't really consider himself a "skeptic".
