tried calibre (foss ebook management software with kobo support) and the pocket plugin? I believe it converts them to epub rather than using the built in Kobo pocket app.

it would and it will imo. I just don't think bitcoin is it. It has however bootstrapped a few potentials. Until its decided which that might be, bitcoin kinda serves its purpose.

compile times are fast enough now that if the tools were friendly enough I don't know it would be so inconvenient to the end user anymore. is there any distros out there now that are source based like Gentoo with more friendly defaults
