Can DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials be an alternative to Privacy Badger? Once I replaced Privace Badger by it, because Privacy Badger had conflicts with some sites I read often. But I'm not sure if its's an optimal alternative.

I don't think it's realistic to believe that hierarchies wouldn't emerge one way or another. The hierarchy can arise in the form of a mafia, or in a more regulated way.

I like XFCE and MATE but I decided to use Gnome 3 only because with XFCE and MATE I had some problems connecting a TV with HDMI to the computer. With some tweaking it works, but with Gnome 3 it works out of the box, as it does in Windows.

The combats quickly become too easy. The world and story are fine. I liked about New Vegas that it had a very elaborate world and the fights were more challenging.

You say that individuals with power may do bad things and states with power do good things. Yes, that can happen. But also there may be individuals with power that do very good things and states with power that do very bad things.
