I've been using Echarts for quite a while now and I really like it. You can see how I am using them at https://devboard.gitsense.com/ollama I also agree that the doc can be a little obtuse, but with examples + stackov

I know it is a Microsoft Project. My reasoning is, if Ollama supports ONNX and if it can provide performance on par or better than llama.cpp, it would make sense for Microsoft to acquire Ollama for distribution reasons.

So you are saying Ollama is a strong MS acquisition in the future if onnx works out.

I don't think they will move away from llama.cpp until they are forced to. The number of people contributing to llama.cpp is quite significant [1] and it wouldn't make sense to use another backend given how quickly llama.cpp is i

You might want to look at https://github.com/danswer-ai/danswer as well, as it sounds like their UI might be better suited for your use case.

I suspect this has more to do with getting TikTok users riled up with the hopes of influencing change. If they do sell, I don't see anybody trying to low ball them since they know what they are getting.

In business school you learn that you can't compete with "as good as". If you are using Copilot and another company comes along that is "as good as Copilot", there is very little incentive for people to switch.

My theory is, there is an AI frameworks turf war going on and the bots are to ensure discussion is impossible or extremely difficult.

I would say a lot right now. If you look at contributors with open or merged pull requests https://devboard.gitsense.com/redis?id=f66d8a46ef&comments=i... Redis has 14 contributors vs 48 for Valkey. I think it is very
