You're right. I use Fastmail scared that my emails will go to spam. But ideally I want to live in a world where my emails hosted on my email server will send like they did 10-20 years ago.

Google's making us play by their rules: 1. Our ML models see that your emails spam? You're spam. 2. You're using Tor or a VPN? Here's 10 reCaptcha's. 3. Don't use Google Webmaster or use AMPs? Good luck finding

I don't want to argue, but it's up 15% since last year (if you bought/sold right you could've also make 400% since last year. I don't personally have anything in crypto, but am watching enthusiastically from the sid

Suppose we take Coinbase (I don't use it, but I've heard SIM swapping is done regularly with Coinbase): Suppose you lose all your physical keys: I don't think you can social engineer hack Coinbase (pretty sure most companies

Not just Youtube, he gets paid sponsors on his podcast. For example (in my case) if you listen on Apple Podcasts you can hear 5 minutes of him talking about brands. These brands probably pay him tens of thousands per episode to get a shouto

I guess you can call most cryptocurrencies volatile but some like BTC and ETH have so much marketcap that it's getting a bit better. Some people truly believe in crypto (and even institutions are... they store in Bakkt) and I guess you

I have one at work/keep on my computer and one at home. Some websites allow TOTP which is still safer than SMS, but if I lose one, I'll get another one while I use the 2nd.

He clearly isn’t educated enough (not to be mean). Especially if you’re going around with that much crypto always always remember: Not your keys, not your coins. Always store cold storage and set aside some for trading if you want. And if y

This is exactly why I’m only faithful to FIDO U2F keys. Got a couple and ensure they’re safe. No one’s hacking my accounts unless they crack both my passwords and rob me physically... which at this point doesn’t seem like it’s going to happ

Right. Only other scenario that would work is for Joe to fly over there... which probably wouldn't happen. Regardless, Joe's getting so many good interviews in the past two years.

Heard some friends do dropshipping on places like Amazon or Shopify, although I can't attest to the validity/how successful it actually is.

Self host it if you can. I do at https://sdan.xyz/blog and https://sdan.xyz/essays and it works flawlessly regardless of visitors/staff members/etc. Obviously by paying Ghost to host it for you is

Now I'm waiting for FIDO U2F key support. Also waiting on Cloudflare on doing it as well!

This post was flagged while I was writing a comment. I had to "vouch" for it to get it unflagged -- I didn't see anything wrong with it.

I think it was certbot that was recommended by DO to use; I used certbot and it was super easy to setup, but at the moment I feel that Cloudflare's security, fast delivery, and analytics will keep me onboard until I can self host/
