Yes. You're absolutely right. I'm just hacking stuff together right now (and recently moved every single piece of infra onto a local server from GCP). I'm still in that migration process.

If you're getting over a million hits I might add some incentive to donate, but mainly I take this as my payback to the developer community. I'm launching another product in a different domain at the moment and hoping that can com

I'm building an analytics service and thank you for the feedback! I'm currently building a service that's nearly as fast as Google Analytics and simple as can be (although there's going to be a tone of new features soon)

I'm currently building a free analytics service that's the fastest. Ever. Faster than Fathom, Simple Analaytics, pretty much everything except Google Analytics you can think of. https://sdan.io/pingpong Still bu

Unlike some other comments, I use Google mainly and DuckDuckGo sometimes. As I'm building a product or doing some other imperitive job, I'm not focused on privacy (other than the fact that I put on AlgoVPN and switch between my VP

I'm pretty sure iCloud is hosted on Apple's servers now. A couple months ago on HN, a graph of cloud spending for the big Ns came out and Apple has slowly moved everything onto their own server in 2017/2018

Amazing! Love using Diffbot and although I'm not too deep into the NLP space yet, finding the relations of the text itself is a pretty important task.

I don't recall ever giving my real name/address for any billing address/name, because most if not all the time, they don't really care (or at least I never seen a difference).

Yes they do. If you want to bypass these rules, just make a ton of accounts and wait for a couple months and the use those accounts with whatever credit card you have (keep in mind that you should get another card from your bank because goo

One reason I use Postman is to check latency from all around the world. Surely you could probably setup a ton of ec2 or gcp instances and try that out, but at least for me, Postman easily allowed me to do that (and might still stick with th
