We've already asked you to please stop breaking the guidelines and it's not happening so we've banned the account. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

If you aren't going to post substantively, don't post at all. We're asked you several times before and eventually we ban accounts that won't follow the guidelines. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguideli

You've been breaking the guidelines a whole lot (here by commenting about voting and posting unsubstantively). Could you please stop? https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

OK, we've moved the comments there and boosted the earlier article up to the front page.

Even though it frequently seems that way, this isn't a title discussion site. Would you mind holding off until you're ready to post something thoughtful and informative? https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.

It's a flamebait tagline, to be sure, but we're responsible for our own discussion here on Hacker News and there's just nothing good down this road. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

Would you please work on commenting more substantively? We're aiming for the kinds of discussion in which we stand to learn something. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

Please don't post troll comments here. Respondents: please remember the age-old rule of the internet. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

Please don't post unsubstantive comments like this in tinderbox threads. We don't learn anything and just get riled up. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

If you won't comment civilly and substantively we'll ban the account. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

If the discussion isn't proceeding in a thoughtful, constructive fashion then don't proceed. Downvotes are fine—flags if a comment or submission breaks the guidelines.

We're absolutely willing to oppose organized and targeted manipulation of votes/flags (and we write a ton of software and meta-moderation features to do so), but that's not what's happening. What's happening is legi
