Linus is an investor in Framework [0]. Secondly, I think he was giving it a shot as he's probably the largest media personality in the enthusiast PC space, and figured that reaching out to his AMD contacts would yield some results. [0]

AMD is giving Intel a bit of breathing space at the lower end of the product stack, the 7600X price/perf isn't that great when you factor in the requirement for DDR5 + new AM5 socket.

Ignition! is a fantastic read. Not related to mercaptans (or bad smells), but this passage from the book has always made me chuckle: > [Chlorine trifluoride] is, of course, extremely toxic, but that’s the least of the problem. It is hype

That makes sense - we should find if there are any limits to the existing system after spending is increased to match Western European nations (~11% of GDP [0]). (my gut instinct says that we have hit those limits: if the NHS was a good mod

We are never going to get a serious debate around reforming the NHS until people move on from only comparing the UK to the US. There are many other systems that work - people only need to look across to Europe.

I'm not a Windows developer, so this might be a stupid question: is simply a case of just building 7-Zip from source and enabling the Control Flow Guard flag in Visual Studio, or does it require more work?
