Perhaps, but given their sensitivity you would want to comply or face some difficult discussions with intelligence agencies.

I'm one of the co-founders of Newspaper Club ( http://www.newspaperclub.com/ ), so I've got a little bit of experience in this area. Honestly, there's nothing special to it. Pushing atoms around is hard work, but there's thousands of years

Amen: I really want to like it, but found the documentation completely impenetrable. It doesn't help that there's a big refactoring effort underway, and the entire views system seems to be changing to Template. I wouldn't write it off alrea

I don't buy your last paragraph. Britain has some seriously large open discussion forums such as Mumsnet and Money Saving Expert. Those are well known by the average person in the street and have some serious political weight. Also: don't c

+1 - it's fantastic. The thought of being freelance/starting a startup whilst having to pay health insurance is terrifying.

There's no need to embed any code on anyone's site. The whole point is that Readability automatically detects the main body content from a page and extracts it. As a publisher, if your main body content isn't being detected automatically, p

I'd go so far as to say that this is one of the best technical books I've read. I'd been interested in Erlang for a while, but found building anything in OTP somewhat baffling. I read this and it clicked. I just wish the rest of Erlang's do

Not true: the dashboard runs entirely on SSL - which is still encrypted on an open wifi network. Compromising SSL isn't out of the question though, but highly unlikely.

I'm surprised Duplicity hasn't had a mention. It supports full and incremental, zipped encrypted backups (using GPG) to S3/SCP/FTP/local/etc. Under the hood it uses librsync for fast binary diffs. Duplicity + S3 is somewhat similar to tarsn

Thanks - that looks quite interesting. Do you offer anything that cleans up the HTML but preserves formatting and images in the article?
