I am a bit surprised at some of the comments here. I'll start by saying that I only have one side of the story so it is possible that the way you suggested those changes is the problem and not the changes themselves. But, having been i

It's so that no one gets offended. You can't offend anyone if you don't actually have an opinion or a personality at all. Ironic since being so bland is actually having a certain kind of personality. I've seen this a few

That sounds like some experiences I had even before chatbots were a thing. You're on hold for 15-30 mins and being passed around between customer service reps that are reading from the same scripts and asking the same questions without

Yeah I share your opinion to an extent and I hope you're wrong. In a small market with a handful of competitors or non at all in some cases, what are you going to do exactly? It will be the same elsewhere. The large corporations know t

This is what I am seeing as well. This is coinciding with a noticeable increase in consumer dissatisfaction though that may or may not be related as it is just my observation. A big increase in cost of living and generally bad market and th

From what I'm being told, it is being used for cost cutting which would make the numbers look better in the short term. But otherwise it is still being imposed by upper management to use it for something, anything really, but without e

In my experience pentests were just a box ticking exercise. I consider it a cultural thing. If you're having to run a pentest right before release and it uncovers a vast amount of issues then you never cared about the quality of your s

After using Ubuntu for many years both on the desktop and server, recent decisions have got me thinking that Canonical has lost a lot of its community spirit. That got me switching over machines to Debian which, to me, still feels like a co

When I last looked, the evaporative methods were better than others. You don't need distilled water for it, tap will work. They do need cleaning and frequent disinfecting though due to the pad constantly sitting in the water. The price

I don't believe the models were running on the VPS itself. According to my understanding of the article, they used OpenRouter and OpenCode's service as service providers. The agent was the thing running on the VPS.

Do you mean LXD and Incus? If so, sort of. Incus is a fork of LXD but it diverged quite a bit and due to the LXD licensing change, Incus can't take anything from LXD but LXD can from Incus. Incus is a community project and is a lot mor
