It looks like that works by having two elements in the body, one, 'wrap', w/ position fixed and covering the screen, covering up another, 'scroll-proxy', with height 5400. They detect scroll on the proxy and use it set css transforms on el

If these chips are able to outperform ARM, then it will put android in a very good position because their apps run on a VM. I am assuming these would show up only in android phones and windows 8 tablets? Would windows phone be able to use

They spent a long time talking about this, at the expense of more interesting questions she could have asked PG. Especially more interesting to people interested in startups. It is a serious issue though, 96/4 men to women is a really bad

People did ask these things though. If you search pub med there are hundreds of papers on HDL, LDL, and their interactions with other molecules. The bet Pfizer made may not even have been a bad bet, just an unlucky one. And now we know

Apple probably stands to benefit from SOPA if more people end up downloading music/movies from itunes. I think microsoft / amazon are in the same boat with their own downloading services.

I am very happy to see webOS get open sourced, but unfortunately, I think this article is right on the money. Open sourcing webOS would have made a huge difference if Palm had done it from the beginning, but at this point the traction that

I think they want to make sure the labels continue to post official content on youtube, so will do what they can to make sure that relationship stays friendly.

It seems much more likely that Universal has something automatically flagging everything with "Kanye West" in the title then that there is some kind of conspiracy.

I was curious what the penalties are for issuing a false DMCA takedown request. According to this article ( http://intellectual-property.lawyers.com/blogs/archives/1036... ), the penalty is perjury, which is a felony. Does anyone know who

I think robotic construction will absolutely be the way forward, but I wouldn't think that UAVs would be the most efficient way. My guess is that autonomous retrofits of existing cranes and digging machinery will do most of the heavy liftin

I agree, they are pretty fun. To go fast, you have to pedal fast. It makes it feel like you are going REALLY fast. That said, I wouldn't want to ride one as my only bike.

Existing maintenance and filing fees clearly have not been enough to prevent large numbers of frivolous patents. Any IP tax would have to be quite a bit larger than fees existing now to be effective. I read somewhere that although Russia h
