Wow, Zuckerberg is genius. I remember everyone (including myself)criticizing Facebook for not taking the Yahoo deal. If this works, they might become the first truly great and useful portal. Google, are you guys paying attention?

Surprised that Zenter turned down a Google offer. I wonder how low it was?

Was Aaron Swartz a founder of Reddit? I thought he joined Steve and Alexis after Infogami didn't work out. Either way, he's a great hacker and that was great candid interview.

Startups are screwed? A MS/Yahoo combination is a play by MS to get immediate marketshare in search and other major online services so that it can allow it's MSN monetization engine to compete. Startups shouldn't be looking to compete with

Why does the fact the MBA grads want to work at Google take away from the company? There are a lot of very talented MBA graduates who are very good at specific things. It's not like Google is letting MBA grads run engineering.

That's not what I'm saying. I agree that Digg shouldn't censor it. My point is that the original poster shouldn't have posted it. Clearly, the intention of this particular number is to steal. It's not enough that pirates steal, but they hav

I really don't understand certain users. Digg is a great and useful service, why try to abuse it? Are pirates so proud of stealing that they have to broadcast it to the whole world?

Joost is an excellent concept and I'm impressed that they've been able to land some major deals before launch. However, as the industry moves towards HD standards - are consumers going to be satisfied with the solid but still lower quality

I disagree with the premise that Google is only good at making product's that its own hackers use (See aston's points below). Nevertheless, even if we assume that this is true, many of Google's employees, including tech leads, produt manage

I don't think emulating Keynote is the right play. Any online presentation app should be designed to exploit the inherent advantages that web applications have, i.e. collaboration, information retrieval, etc.. I don't think the goal is to r

I can't wait to see Zentor, as someone who worked on the next version of Keynote I admit I'm skeptical of online presentation apps but it seems like an exciting space to be in.
