Has anyone ever considered just giving 3rd party javascript less access to things? That may fix the fingerprinting problem too. I do have some appreciation for how badly it would break a lot of the web applications though, but it seems lik

I can't help but find it amusing that you ask if the no-brand batteries are worth your trust. You already paid a premium for a premium device, with a battery that has now shown to have significant limitations over time. Why wouldn

It's a good bit ludicrous that they are providing Edge for IOS / Android but not for previous versions of Windows. My life as a programmer would be better if I didn't have to support IE11 / Windows 7, but instead of doin

I have purchased a fair amount from Humble bundle, and have been a subscriber to the humble monthly bundle since it's inception. Suffice it to say, I have a great appreciation and admiration for the way Humble Bundle works (worked?).

This is actually part of the plot of the movie (Three Days of the Condor) and book (Six days of the Condor). The protagonist works at a CIA site where they read basically everything released and break down the plots to see if it has any st

Forgive me for not being an academic, so maybe this question is moot. Why isn't there a place that links to a given paper so that discussion about the paper can be centralized? It could also contain links to papers that link to that p

Take a look at Netguard on Github. It emulates the hostfile via local loopback vpn and is able to fully adblock your android device without rooting it. It's also available on the playstore, but that functionality is disabled. Their r
