I was in the same boat nearly a year ago. I had knowledge of HTML and CSS and not much else. Since then, I've learned Ruby, Rails, and a little of Objective-C. I feel so much better now that I have the confidence to build anything I want

It might be better to just have a horizontal line to show you where you are. The rest of the visual experience is kind of unnecessary.

I usually avoid using the handle and open the door by pulling on the top of the door. Even when I open a door, I try to pick a place that's least likely to be used by other people.
